Job Summary Join our Urology Surgery team as a Practice Assistant and play an important role in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for patients while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy clinical practice. In this role, you'll combine customer service, scheduling, and administrative coordination to help patients navigate their care and keep the practice running efficiently. Qualifications What You'll Do Greet and assist patients and provide support throughout the visit process. Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate appointment records. Answer incoming calls, respond to routine questions, take messages, and coordinate scheduling needs. Support patient registration, billing, document scanning, medical records, and laboratory result requests. Handle messages related to prior authorizations, prescription refills, provider questions, and test results. Serve as a resource for scheduling, registration, and billing systems and assist with training others. Perform additional specialized scheduling functions, which may include surgical scheduling and schedule changes/blocking. Provide general administrative support, including correspondence, forms, records, mail, and faxes. What You'll Bring High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2-3 years of office experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office systems and procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A professional, patient-focused approach and the ability to resolve routine issues effectively.
