Find your calling at Mercy! Job Profile Summary The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and assessing needs of patients and formulating treatment plans. Provides therapy services defined in treatment plans, and works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and staff. In addition, the Physical Therapist provides direction to Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides. Position Details: Additional Job Description Education: Advanced graduate degree required from an accredited academic program in Physical Therapy. Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice. Experience: Previous successful Physical Therapy delivery is preferred. Certifications: BLS Basic Life Support Within 3 Months Of Hire Other: Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills are required. Preferred Education: Preferred Licensure: Preferred Experience: One to two years experience working as a Physical Therapist. Preferred Certifications: Preferred Other: Physical Requirements: * Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. * Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. * Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
