Now hiring for a Non-CDL Yard Hostler Location: Georgetown, TX Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Schedule: Seasonal Assignment - 2 Openings Shift: 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM Coverage Needed: 7 Days Per Week Full-time and part-time schedules available, including weekends. Looking for Non-CDL Yard Hostler jobs in Georgetown where every mile matters? This opportunity puts your driving skills to work transporting goods safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting the businesses and customers that keep the economy moving. What You'll Do Operate a yard goat to move, stage, and position trailers within the yard. Perform trailer spotting and yard management activities. Couple and uncouple trailers safely and efficiently. Conduct equipment inspections and report any issues. Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with yard personnel. Maintain a safe and organized yard environment. Support daily transportation and distribution operations. Experience Requirements Minimum 6 months of recent yard hostling experience required. Experience operating a yard goat or yard truck with an automatic transmission. Strong trailer staging, maneuvering, and yard operations experience. Ability to safely couple and uncouple trailers. Excellent blindside backing skills required. Experience working in distribution, transportation, warehouse, or logistics yard environments preferred. Ability to follow dispatch instructions and work independently. Driver Requirements Valid driver's license required (CDL not required). Acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate a yard hostler and move trailers throughout the yard. Ability to perform equipment inspections before and after operation. Must be dependable and available for overnight shifts, including weekends. Ability to meet all pre-employment screening requirements. Commitment to following all yard safety policies and procedures. Physical Capabilities Ability to climb in and out of equipment repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to walk, bend, and handle trailer connections. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely perform all yard operations during overnight hours.
