Technical Writer - Standard Work / Sop Authoring

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

* Demonstrated experience authoring cybersecurity or IT SOPs, Detailed Job Instructions (DJIs), and standard-work artifacts.

* Ability to translate technical engineering content into clear and executable instructions for L1 and L2 operators and site personnel.

* Experience using controlled document templates, version-control conventions, and structured review and approval workflows.

* Familiarity with OT asset discovery, Nozomi deployment, Zscaler remote access, and CyberArk remote access concepts.

* Familiarity with physical and logical access, media protection, backup and recovery, and audit-findings remediation documentation.

* Excellent interviewing, technical editing, information structuring, and stakeholder coordination skills.

* Good to have: OT, ICS, industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, or regulated-environment experience; document management systems; CMMC, EASA Part-IS, NIS2, IEC 62443, and NIST SP 800-82 awareness; process-flow, checklist, job-aid, and evidence-template creation.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Create SOPs and Detailed Job Instructions for OT Asset Discovery and Inventory Management.

* Create SOPs and Detailed Job Instructions for Nozomi deployment.

* Create SOPs and Detailed Job Instructions for Zscaler OT Internal Remote Access Deployment.

* Create SOPs and Detailed Job Instructions for CyberArk OT External Remote Access Deployment.

* Create SOPs and Detailed Job Instructions for Physical and Logical Access, Media Protection, and Backup and Recovery.

* Create Audit Findings Remediation SOPs.

* Publish the revised OT Policy and Standard and consolidate the SOP library into the document management repository.

* Ensure all artifacts follow required document templates, version-control conventions, authoring, peer review, OT Cybersecurity approval, and publication workflows.

* Work with OT Cybersecurity Architects and stakeholders to validate technical accuracy, usability, and approval status.

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and ability to work independently across global teams.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 a year
