POSITION SUMMARY: The Property Services Technician for Dismas Charities supports the Regional Property Services Manager in keeping the centers and the corporate office safe, clean, and in good working order. This role performs routine repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and general upkeep under the direction of the Regional Property Services Manager, while building trade skills and gaining experience across locations. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling. The employee must be able to climb ladders safely, work at elevated heights, and maintain the physical stamina to use tools and outdoor equipment. ESSENTIAL POSITION This position is considered an "essential position" (as defined by the United States Department of Homeland Security) and is a position that cannot be completed via telecommuting. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is exposed to both indoor and outdoor environments. Work may be performed in controlled office temperatures or outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
