Reingold offers you opportunities to tailor the internship experience to your interests and strengths - all while working on causes that really matter. Internships at Reingold are full-time (40 hours) during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, June 4, 2026, and runs through Friday, November 20, 2026. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five in-office days (Monday - Friday) at our office in Alexandria, Virginia. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Research, catalogue, and validate project expenses. Assist the project team with travel regulations and policies. Design and implement standard operating procedures. Ensure quality control for deliverables. Collaborate on process improvements across workstream teams and departments. Assist the project team with various financial project management tasks. Develop financial management tools. Support project reporting efforts. A Reingold Intern Must Completed Bachelor's degree (required). 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree. Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and graphs. Ability to prioritize and complete work independently and efficiently. Critical thinking skills, with a mindset for both the big picture and the small details. Strong organizational skills, including a reputation for being extremely detail oriented. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude. Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Bonus points for: Understanding of federal travel regulations (FTRs) and per diem. Experience with Monday.com. Experience reviewing invoices and receipts. An interest in government contracting and compliance.
