Overview

HR Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Human Resources Coordinator with a strong administrative background to support our HR team. This role serves as a key resource for recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, HR initiatives, and daily HR operations across a growing organization of more than 400 employees at ten locations throughout Oregon.

Based on-site at our Central Business Office in Eugene, Oregon, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys process-driven work, effectively manages multiple priorities, and values both structure and collaboration. The Human Resources Coordinator works closely with employees, candidates, hiring managers, and leaders to support a positive employee experience while contributing to a variety of HR programs, projects, and initiatives.

The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $22.00-$28.00. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, internal equity, etc.

Employment Type: Full-Time, 30 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, correspondence, document management, scheduling, and project coordination.
  • Serve as a resource for routine employee questions and direct inquiries to appropriate HR team members and resources.
  • Support HR projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives as assigned.
  • Manage onboarding supply ordering and inventory.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including candidate scheduling, screening interviews, and interview coordination in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
  • Prepare and maintain new hire materials, onboarding packets, employee badges, parking assignments, and related onboarding resources.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files, including electronic and paper documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1+ of administrative, office coordination, customer service, or related experience required; Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated customer service mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and eager to learn new processes and systems.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior administrative experience required.
