What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and deliver moderate to complex strategic financial analyses that directly support business operations and critical decision-making processes.
- Analyze financial and business information, focusing on key drivers at a business unit or functional level, to assess business issues, draw conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead the development, delivery, and assessment of the fiscal year plan and forecasts, as well as multi-year financial projections for specific business units or functions.
- Provide robust analytical, reporting, and financial modeling support for the annual budgeting process.
- Develop and deliver moderate to complex business management reports and key financial metrics, including recurring financial analysis to monitor performance.
- Perform comprehensive ad hoc financial analyses to address emergent business needs and support strategic initiatives.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a related function.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a profound ability to understand the impact of operations on financial results.
- Strong Excel proficiency, including advanced features like Pivot tables and V-Lookups, coupled with strong analytical skills in complex and ambiguous situations.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines.
- Experience in analyzing complex financial reports.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven presentation abilities and a knack for effectively partnering with global finance teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems, such as SAP.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Financial modeling expertise.
- Proficiency in variance analysis.
- Strong background in financial reporting (budget, actuals, forecast).
- Clear understanding of capital expenditure (capex) and operating expenditure (opex).
- Experience with workforce (internal & external) and third-party vendor expense management.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Knowledge of the tech industry (e.g., Cloud, Infrastructure, FinOps, AI).
- General knowledge of mutual funds or experience within the investment management industry.
- An MBA is preferred, but not required.
