Space Planner
Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center's Space Planning and Space Data team is responsible for identifying space needs and solutions in all leased and owned facilities (approximately 2.3 million sq ft). The department is also responsible for maintaining accurate records of space data, undertaking space use assessments, and supporting the organization's strategic goals. As a Space Planner, this position will perform spatial and graphic data analysis regarding campus space. Responsibilities will include development of occupancy plans and responses to space requests, and monitoring of space utilization to ensure that planning is aligned with space guidelines, and that all scenarios maximize space use. This role will recommend, educate, and support space assignment standards/guidelines, procedures and protocols, and help maintain a strategic space information system that provides accurate physical space utilization and inventory. This role serves as a resource for questions regarding the management and analyses of data used in capital and space planning. This position is a hybrid role with a minimum two days per week at our South Lake Union campus. A cover letter is required for consideration. Responsibilities
Responsible for logging, validating, and presenting space requests; works with users and management to obtain information and develop an understanding of needs; recommends solutions based on space policies/standards, procedures, and protocols.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $84,490 to $126,714, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. A cover letter is required for consideration.
