About MSU Denver About this role This position exists to contribute to the effective management and development of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Student Information Systems (SIS) and other products through close collaboration across technical and functional leads. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product strategy and execution. IND208 50% - Product Analysis As a Product Analyst, you'll work with product managers, end users, functional users, developers, business stakeholders and vendors to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements and business processes. You will prepare and maintain detailed documentation pertaining to functional and technical requirements, propose and assess solutions, configurations, testing, and system operations. You will work cross-functionally to implement releases that align with the product strategy, bridging complex business problems to solutions by contributing to solutions for usability and end-user adoption, which support University strategic initiatives. You will also monitor product performance and recommend improvements to enhance usability and efficiency. The product analyst will support the day-to-day operational processes, developing and implementing procedures in response to changing business needs and program design. 25% - Support & Training As Product Analyst, you'll be able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday functionality and advise users requiring assistance in solving complex problems or configurations. You'll apply your experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences to draft and deliver training materials and campus communications, ensuring the community both knows what the system can do, and how to use it. 10% - Reporting You will work with product managers to define and document reporting needs, create reports and enhance end-user experience through reporting solutions. You will perform data analysis to support evaluation of system defects or to develop requirements for new functionality; triage and troubleshoot complex user-reported system defects; assist in various system trouble shooting and balancing and correction efforts including analysis, verification and validation of issues and fixes. 5% - Other Tasks as Assigned You may be asked to take on additional responsibilities, including occasional off-hours or weekend work. Salary Annoucement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
