Description JOB SUMMARY The Monitor reports directly to the Assistant Program Director and is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and orderly operation of Belgravia Center while providing direct supervision and support to residents. This position plays a critical role in promoting a structured, accountable, and therapeutic environment by ensuring residents comply with program rules, schedules, and expectations while fostering a respectful and professional atmosphere. The Monitor conducts routine security rounds, resident counts, room inspections, perimeter checks, and pat-down searches to maintain facility security and ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for accurately documenting resident behavior, incidents, policy violations, and other required activities in accordance with agency policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations. The Monitor also performs observed urine specimen collections, responds promptly to emergencies, assists with general office and administrative tasks, and provides transportation on behalf of the Agency when required. Through consistent supervision, sound judgment, professionalism, and effective communication, the Monitor helps promote resident accountability, supports successful program participation, and contributes to a safe, secure, and recovery-focused environment that encourages long-term stability and successful community reintegration.
