Marketing Communications Project Coordinator Location:Southfield, MI Pay: $32.00 - $33.00 per hour 26-10862 Job Summary The Marketing Communications Project Analyst will support global brand, content, and marketing operations initiatives by coordinating updates to customer-facing materials and digital channels. This role focuses on marketing asset management, content accuracy, brand consistency, project tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while improving content governance, reporting, and workflow efficiency across global marketing teams. Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate global brand and content updates across customer-facing marketing communications and digital channels.
- Build and maintain marketing asset inventories, including ownership, status, version details, priorities, and required updates.
- Collaborate with product, regional, digital, creative, and functional marketing teams to maintain consistent messaging, visual identity, and content accuracy.
- Coordinate updates to product data sheets, brochures, sales presentations, event materials, videos, templates, and other marketing collateral.
- Track project plans, timelines, milestones, approvals, dependencies, and completion metrics to support timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate source file references, version control, and project documentation.
- Support content review and approval workflows to ensure marketing materials meet established brand standards.
- Identify outdated, duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent assets and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Support website content updates, digital asset replacement, content migration, and quality assurance activities.
- Coordinate localization and translation workflows with regional stakeholders as needed.
- Review published digital content for accuracy, working links, appropriate asset versions, and brand compliance.
- Prepare project status reports, progress summaries, and updates for stakeholders and leadership.
- Coordinate deliverables with internal teams, creative agencies, production vendors, and external partners.
- Communicate project risks, approval delays, timeline constraints, and unresolved content gaps.
- Analyze marketing asset inventories to identify content gaps, duplication, outdated materials, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend improvements to content organization, asset reuse, accessibility, workflow efficiency, and governance processes.
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, content operations, project coordination, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines.
- Experience managing marketing collateral, website content, presentations, digital assets, or project documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including maintaining detailed trackers and preparing clear status reports.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, organize complex information, and track project progress.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to identify content inconsistencies, manage version control, and follow established review and approval processes.
- Proactive approach to managing deadlines, resolving issues, and improving operational efficiency.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting brand consistency initiatives, large-scale content updates, content governance, or digital asset management projects.
- Familiarity with content management systems, digital asset management platforms, review and approval workflows, or project management tools.
- Experience coordinating with creative agencies, production vendors, and regional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of business-to-business, manufacturing, industrial, automotive, commercial vehicle, or aftermarket industries.
- Experience with website content platforms, localization workflows, translation processes, or digital analytics.
