  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-4:00 AM
  • Weekend Shift: Thursday-Sunday, 4:00 AM-4:00 PM

Job Duties

  • Conduct new hire safety orientations and ongoing EHS training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Perform daily safety inspections, audits, and floor observations to identify hazards and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Provide real-time safety coaching and reinforce safe work practices to reduce workplace injuries.
  • Partner with operations leadership to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct job hazard analyses and risk assessments to identify injury prevention opportunities.
  • Maintain safety records, training documentation, compliance reports, and audit findings.
  • Create shift pass-down reports highlighting safety trends, observations, and action items.
  • Support emergency response planning, drills, and environmental compliance initiatives.
  • Lead employee engagement programs focused on safety awareness, hazard reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the EHS Manager with special projects and occupational safety initiatives.


Education Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and mobile technology.


Experience Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial operations experience.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations and workplace safety standards.
  • Experience conducting safety orientations, employee training, and safety audits.
  • Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Strong coaching, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.


Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to spend extended periods walking production floors and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to conduct inspections, observations, audits, and training throughout large facilities.
  • Ability to respond to incidents and support emergency preparedness activities.
  • Comfortable working in manufacturing, warehouse, and industrial settings.
  • Ability to use computers, tablets, and mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
