Job Duties Set up and operate various surface grinding machines to produce precision components. Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications to determine dimensional and finish requirements. Inspect machined products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment. Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with customer and company standards. Maintain tools, inspection equipment, and machinery according to established procedures. Follow all safety, quality, and production requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production and quality concerns. Support continuous improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives. Perform additional manufacturing and machining duties as assigned. Education Requirements High School Diploma, Trade School, or equivalent work experience required. Blueprint reading skills preferred. Manufacturing, machining, or technical training is a plus. Experience Requirements Minimum 6 months of machining or manufacturing experience required. Experience operating surface grinders, precision machining equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery preferred. Knowledge of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to understand technical information and follow detailed work instructions. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout a 10-hour shift. Ability to safely operate grinding and machining equipment. Capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and precision. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
