Are you a visionary Product Marketing Manager passionate about shaping the future of digital experiences for children and teens? This is your chance to make a profound impact, acting as a critical bridge between user needs and product development. You will be at the forefront of defining and communicating the value of sensitive, high-profile products, ensuring they are not only innovative but also safe, responsible, and aligned with global standards. Your work will directly influence product roadmaps, prioritize features, and safeguard the reputation of widely-used platforms, ensuring a positive and secure experience for millions of young users.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive inbound product marketing initiatives, focusing on deep audience insights, strategic positioning, and influencing product roadmaps for platforms serving children and teens.
  • Serve as a crucial link between user/parent insights and product development teams, ensuring user needs and safety considerations are at the heart of product evolution.
  • Guide sensitive products through rigorous internal review, approval processes, and comprehensive risk-assessment frameworks.
  • Craft compelling and clear messaging for complex, high-risk, or reputationally sensitive products, ensuring effective communication to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of core products, including standalone applications for younger children, and supervised account features for older children and teens on major video platforms.
  • Shape features across critical categories such as content settings, age-appropriate experiences, time management tools (screen time limits, breaks), and participation functionalities (posting, commenting, sharing, liking) for teen audiences.
  • Provide expert cross-product advisory, collaborating with other product teams (e.g., music streaming platforms) to uphold child/teen safety standards and proactively mitigate reputational risks.

What You'll Bring:

Essential / Must-Have Skills:

  • ~5-6 years of progressive experience in product marketing, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, adept at uniting diverse teams including Product Managers, Policy, Public Policy, PR/Communications, Insights, and Legal.
  • Deep domain and industry knowledge, with demonstrated experience navigating the complexities of tech products built for kids and teens.
  • A strong understanding of youth safety principles, regulatory environments, and reputational risk management within the digital space.
  • Superior communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of leading live discussions with senior leaders (Directors, VPs) and distilling complex arguments effectively under pressure.
  • High proficiency in developing clear, concise written memos, comprehensive documentation, and impactful visual presentations for internal alignment.
  • Experience in product marketing for youth/teen platforms within leading tech companies, adjacent youth brands, or gaming industries.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance product marketing strategies and insights.
