Position Title: Color Match / Packaging Specialist
Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Thursday) QPS is hiring a Color Match / Packaging Specialist for a manufacturing opportunity in Marshalltown, IA. This position is responsible for preparing, tinting, packaging, and shipping paint products while ensuring accurate color matching and consistent product quality. Color Match / Packaging Specialist Responsibilities: - Prepare color samples and paint products - Tint and adjust products according to established formulas - Verify color accuracy and consistency - Fill multiple container sizes and package finished products - Prepare and ship customer orders - Pull and handle raw materials - Accurately document formulas, adjustments, and test results - Use computer systems including ERP, UPS, and Corob Acutint - Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Work with warehouse and Customer Care teams to fulfill orders Requirements for Color Match / Packaging Specialist: - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Basic math skills and comfort working with measurements - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to learn and operate multiple software systems - Comfortable working around paint, pigments, and chemicals - Ability to stand for extended periods - Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds - Previous experience in paint, coatings, manufacturing, laboratory, quality, or color matching is preferred but not required IND097 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
