Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $21.00 - $24.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm The Machine Operator will operate production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and production standards. Candidates should have 1-2 years of manufacturing experience. Candidates without manufacturing experience should have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn machine operations. Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Operate 2-3 machines at a time while meeting daily production goals - Load and unload parts from machines - Wash, barcode, and properly handle finished parts - Inspect parts for quality and accuracy - Maintain accurate production and quality records - Follow safety and production procedures - Retrieve materials and parts using an electric pallet jack - Handle parts weighing up to 20-25 lbs - Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment - Receive training on machine operation, programming, and recordkeeping Requirements for Machine Operator: - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift - Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry materials - Ability to lift and handle parts weighing up to 20-25 lbs - Ability to repeatedly load and unload parts from machines - Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive tasks and operate tools and equipment - Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack after training - Ability to wear required PPE and follow all workplace safety requirements IND104 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
