Position Title: Production Assistant
Wage: $24.00 - $25.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! Production Assistant Responsibilities: - Create and verify job travelers with accurate information, including bill of materials, routings, specifications, and special instructions - Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies - Collaborate closely with the Production Team and other departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Quality Control) to facilitate seamless coordination and communication throughout the production process - Accurately enter production data into the ERP system and generate reports as needed - Maintain accurate and organized production records, documentation, and files. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily available - Identify and escalate any production-related issues or challenges to the appropriate personnel for resolution - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes and enhance efficiency Requirements for Production Assistant: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings is a plus - Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Experience with inventory and ERP systems is an advantage - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively - Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counting procedures IND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
