About this Role

The primary role of the Operations Maintenance Technician is to execute preventive and reactive maintenance activities that support reliable, safe, and compliant operation of manufacturing& facilitiesequipment across iRhythm operations. This role is responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting rapid response to line-down events, and maintaining accurate maintenance records for equipment such as manual fixtures, PCBA test equipment, automation systems, label printers, and other production support equipment.

Job Responsibilities Include

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facilities equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to line-down events to minimize downtime and restore operations safely.
  • Conduct inspections, repairs, adjustments, and component replacements to maintain equipment performance and reliability.
  • Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and operational checks to support production readiness.

Preventive Maintenance & Documentation

  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in maintenance records.
  • Maintain maintenance tools, spare parts, and materials needed to support equipment uptime.

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow all safety, quality, and compliance requirements, including LOTO, PPE, GDP, FDA, and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Escalate equipment, safety, or quality concerns and support investigations as needed.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Facilities teams to resolve equipment issues and support production needs.
  • Assist with equipment installation, qualification, validation, relocation, and decommissioning activities.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance equipment reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in maintenance, industrial technology, electromechanical systems, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience supporting manufacturing equipment, automation systems, test equipment, or similar production environments.
  • Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
  • Experience using work order systems, or maintenance documentation preferred.

Work Environment

This position is on-site and requires regular presence on the manufacturing floor to perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment issues, and support production operations in real time. The role may require work across shifts, overtime, or weekend support based on operational needs.
