Description Job Title: Engineering Project Manager Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027 Employment Type: Temp to Hire opportunity Industry: Semiconductor Compensation: $50 - $65/hr. Schedule: Day Shift, Monday - Friday About the Opportunity: The Engineering Project Manager will lead technical projects from initiation through completion, managing project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and customer communication. This position will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to ensure projects remain aligned with technical, quality, safety, schedule, and customer requirements. Responsibilities Plan and manage engineering project schedules, scopes, budgets, and resources. Track project milestones, deliverables, and overall project progress. Identify project risks and develop risk-mitigation plans. Serve as a primary point of contact between customers and internal engineering teams. Lead customer meetings, project status updates, and progress presentations. Manage customer expectations, feedback, and project scope changes. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to maintain technical alignment. Assign project tasks and monitor progress using project management tools. Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status reports. Ensure project activities meet applicable quality and safety requirements. Communicate project status, issues, risks, and schedule changes to appropriate stakeholders. Support projects throughout the product development life cycle. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field. 3 years of experience minimum managing engineering or technical projects. What Sets You Apart: Experience managing project schedules, budgets, scope, and resources. Strong understanding of engineering principles and product development life cycles. Experience working directly with customers or clients on technical projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. Ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering teams and manage multiple project priorities. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
