IT Technical Specialist - SAP SD / Order to Cash / Customer Service

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Order to Cash (O2C) & Customer Service Specialist to lead, design, configure, and support SAP ECC solutions across the full OTC lifecycle, including sales order management, pricing, delivery, billing, credit management, returns, intercompany sales, and integration with finance, logistics, and supply chain processes. This role partners business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient SAP solutions that support global business operations.

The position is located in Erie, PA with a regular work schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. Travel may be required based on project needs, typically up to 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP OTC process design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support across SAP ECC environments.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze current-state processes, and define future-state solutions.
• Configure and support core SAP SD & CS functionality, including:
  • Sales orders
  • Pricing and condition techniques
  • Availability check and ATP
  • Delivery & Shipping processing
  • Billing and invoicing
  • Returns management, Credit and debit memo processing
  • Output management
  • OTC Master Data
• Support integrations between SAP SD and related modules, including FI/CO, MM, PP, Stockroom management, GTS, and CRM/eCommerce platforms.
• Design and support end-to-end OTC processes such as quote-to-order, order fulfillment, billing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable integration.
• Lead or participate in SAP ECC rollout, enhancement, and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams on ABAP development, integration design, middleware, EDI, APIs, and data migration.
• Develop test scripts, support all testing cycles (UNT/SIT/RGR/UAT), provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
• Support cutover planning, go-live execution, hyper care, and post-production stabilization.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions.

• Ensure SAP solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP functional experience in SAP SD / Order-to-Cash / Customer Service.
• Strong hands-on configuration experience in end-to-end O2C processes SAP SD, Stockroom, CS and related Sales & Service processes.
• Experience with at least three full SAP implementations or major rollout projects - Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield.

• Strong experience with SAP configuration across order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and customer master processes.

• Strong cross functional knowledge of dependencies with other Logistics & Accounting processes & modules.

• Ability to write clear functional specifications and work effectively with technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in global engineering matrixed organizations that entails manufacturing, distribution, aerospace, industrial, or engineering-driven environments.

• Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system.
