Your Job Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer (EDP) to join our Green Bay, WI team. This Environmental Project Engineer role is an entry point into Georgia-Pacific's Engineering Development Program for early-career civil and environmental engineers. You will work alongside experienced project managers on the environmental infrastructure that keeps our facilities running and compliant, building capability across project scope development, cost and schedule control, permitting, and field execution. The position is designed to accelerate your growth from technical contributor to project leader by giving you real ownership of smaller projects while you support larger, more complex ones. EDP engineers are expected to take on progressively larger scopes as they demonstrate capability. Early assignments focus on supporting a project manager and running small projects end to end; over time that grows into independent management of larger capital environmental projects, deeper permitting ownership, and a mentoring role for the engineers who follow. Development is guided by hands-on project work, coaching from experienced project managers, and GP's Business Process for Projects as the common framework.
