Audiologist - ENT/Medical Model

We are looking for an Audiologist to join our team!

This is a unique opportunity for an Audiologist who enjoys the variety and collaboration of a medical-model practice while still providing comprehensive hearing aid care. Located within a busy ENT office, this role combines diagnostic audiology, physician-referred patient care, hearing aid consultations, sales, fittings, and ongoing support.

You will work alongside two other Audiologists within an established ENT practice. The Audiology team shares clinic coverage, diagnostic appointments, patient consultations, and hearing aid fittings while collaborating closely with the ENT physicians. You will have your own office and dedicated sound booth, while working as part of a collaborative clinical team.

The majority of the position focuses on hearing aid consultations, sales, fittings, and ongoing patient care. However, the ENT setting provides additional clinical variety, including:

• Diagnostic audiologic evaluations for physician-referred patients
• Collaboration with ENT physicians regarding patient diagnosis and treatment
• Hearing aid consultations, recommendations, fittings, and follow-up care
• Post-implant care, including device setup, programming, sound optimization, patient education, and troubleshooting
• Shared clinic coverage with two experienced Audiologists

Vestibular services are primarily handled by another clinic location, allowing this position to focus on diagnostic audiology, amplification, and implant-related follow-up care.

You will help more people hear better by providing clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while creating an exceptional patient experience. You will practice in accordance with all applicable professional licensing requirements and ethical standards. In addition to providing outstanding patient care, you will help grow the practice by building strong patient relationships, delivering effective consultations, and meeting clinical and financial goals.

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations and clearly communicate findings to patients and referring physicians.
• Provide hearing aid consultations and counsel patients on appropriate technology based on their hearing needs, lifestyle, and goals.
• Perform hearing aid fittings, programming, verification, orientation, and follow-up care.
• Educate and train patients on hearing aid use, maintenance, realistic expectations, and communication strategies.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, clean, and coordinate repairs for hearing aids, earmolds, and other amplification devices.
• Support post-implant patients with device setup, programming, sound optimization, education, and ongoing troubleshooting in collaboration with the ENT team.
• Collaborate closely with ENT physicians and fellow Audiologists to coordinate patient care.
• Share clinic coverage, consultations, and hearing aid fitting responsibilities with the Audiology team.
• Drive practice growth through strong consultations, ethical recommendations, and a focus on key business metrics.
• Counsel patients regarding hearing aids, accessories, insurance benefits, third-party payors, financing, and available payment options.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual clinical and financial goals in partnership with clinic leadership.
• Participate in local community outreach, including health fairs and physician relationship development.
• Support Telehealth and Remote Care initiatives to expand access to patient care.
• Maintain continuing education and licensure requirements.
• Operate audiometric equipment and accurately interpret test results.
• Communicate clinical findings and treatment recommendations in a clear, compassionate, and easily understood manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Doctor of Audiology degree or equivalent audiology credentials
• Active Audiology license, or eligibility for licensure, in accordance with Colorado requirements
• Experience with diagnostic audiology, hearing aid consultations, sales, fittings, and follow-up care
• Experience in an ENT or medical-model environment is preferred but not required
• Implant-related experience is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment and patient counseling skills
• Comfort working in a busy, referral-based practice
• Ability to balance excellent patient care with practice-growth and financial goals
• Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented approach
