The selected candidate will provide comprehensive acquisition and program management support to a horizontally integrated team responsible for planning, coordinating, and synchronizing tactical communications capabilities across multiple platforms and modernization efforts. This role supports new and ongoing AFLCMC/WA Fighters and Advanced Aircraft enterprise initiatives and requires active engagement throughout the full acquisition lifecycle. Responsibilities include program planning, requirements development, schedule and risk management, crossplatform coordination, test and evaluation planning, configuration management oversight, production and manufacturing readiness activities, quality assurance coordination, and sustainment and logistics tracking. Responsibilities:
*Apply knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods to gather, assess, and evaluate information required by program managers and stakeholders supporting Tactical Communications technologies across multiple aircraft and mission systems.
*Use integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to guide technical and acquisition activities spanning a wide range of functional disciplines, ensuring the effective delivery and sustainment of USAF tactical communication capabilities.
*Identify issues and develop solutions that enhance acquisition effectiveness, crossplatform interoperability, and compliance within enterpriselevel Tactical Communications modernization efforts.
*Develop and produce highquality acquisition documentation tailored to multiplatform communications capability development.
*Interpret department and center digital transformation strategies and adapt them to meet Tactical Communications program and portfolio requirements.
*Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate program management activities that synchronize tactical communications capability development across multiple platforms.
*Lead and support program and project integration efforts related to crosscutting Tactical Communications technologies.
*Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that reflect interdependencies across multiple platforms and communication architectures.
*Apply program management and systems engineering expertise to address challenges related to multiplatform communications integration, advising project leads and engineers on acquisition considerations and technical impacts.
*Advise program leadership on strategic planning for the development, demonstration, and fielding of integrated Tactical Communications capabilities.
*Provide oversight and coordination for program information assurance activities associated with classified networks supporting communications modernization efforts.
*Support program leadership at government and contractor executive levels during major reviews, inspections, conferences, evaluations, and milestone events relevant to enterprise Tactical Communications initiatives.
*Manage interactions and foster productive relationships between the program office, supporting government organizations, platform program offices, contractors, and higher headquarters to ensure alignment of Tactical Communications activities across the enterprise.
Qualifications:
*Minimum of ten years of relevant Department of War (DoW) experience.
*At least three years of experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the past eight years.
Education and Experience:
oMaster's degree (MS/MA) or higher in business administration, management, accounting, finance, logistics, a STEM discipline, or an MBA.
