Simply put, our mission is to Teach, Heal, Discover and Serve. Veterinarians throughout the Midwest refer animal clients to the Veterinary Health Center for specialized diagnoses and treatment. With sophisticated therapeutic equipment that includes an underwater treadmill, advanced imaging techniques, and groundbreaking equine lameness diagnostic equipment, we are a center for animal healthcare. The Small Animal Emergency & Critical Care (SAECC) service is seeking an experienced and motivated Sr. Veterinary Technician and After-Hours Shift Supervisor to provide leadership and operational support for a team of veterinary technicians and assistants in a fast-paced specialty and emergency hospital setting. This position plays a key role in supporting patient care, staff development, workflow efficiency, and service operations. The Shift Supervisor serves as a clinical resource, coordinates daily staffing and patient flow, promotes adherence to hospital policies and procedures, and works collaboratively with veterinarians and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient care and team performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Shift
This position will be responsible for working and supervising after-hours shifts for the SAECC service. SAECC operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Incumbents will be asked to work weekend and holiday shifts in the course of their responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology Program. Licensure as a Registered Veterinary Technician in the State of Missouri, or eligibility to obtain Missouri Licensure within 6 months after start date. Preferred Qualifications

Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $27.50 to $29.00 per hour, additionally shift differential is available for qualifying evening and overnight shifts We offer a hiring incentive of up to $1,000.00 for qualified individuals. Sponsorship Information
