As a Pediatric Oncology Nurse in our Radiation Oncology Clinic, you'll be part of a fast-paced, tight-knit team that serves on the frontlines of patient care. Primary care coordinator of interdisciplinary patient care activities and responsible for the management of patients throughout their continuum of care at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Responsible and accountable for high quality patient care through implementation of the nursing process including assessment of patient needs (physical, psychosocial, educational), design of a collaborative plan of care, implementation of the plan with appropriate delegation of tasks, coordination of team effort, and evaluation of patient progress towards outcomes. Acts as a patient/family advocate, she/he seeks opportunities to communicate and coordinate patient care activities throughout the continuum in collaboration with other members of the Health Care Team. Monday - Friday 10 hours shifts with rotating off day. Holiday requirement and minimal weekend. Minimum Education and/or Training:
