Position Title: Installation Tech
Wage: $27.00/hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 9:00pm - 6:00am GREAT SHORT-TERM OPPORTUNITY - EARN EXTRA MONEY FOR THE HOLIDAYS! Looking for a way to make extra money before the holidays? We are hiring 3 Installation Technicians for a 4-week fleet vehicle installation project running from November 9, 2026 through December 1, 2026. The crew will travel between 4 project locations: Schertz, San Antonio, Van Ormy, and Round Rock This work will be performed outdoors in fleet parking lots and staging areas Installation Technician Responsibilities: - Preparing vehicles for installation - Removing interior shelving, trim panels, and components - Installing mounting brackets and hardware - Routing and connecting wiring harnesses - Using hand tools and power tools - Performing basic drilling and assembly work - Testing installed equipment to verify proper operation - Reassembling vehicle interiors - Completing installation documentation through a digital system - Performing quality control checks - Keeping work areas clean and organized Requirements for Installation Technician: - Experience using hand tools and power tools - Strong mechanical aptitude - Ability to follow detailed instructions - Ability to work outdoors for the duration of the shift - Reliable transportation to project locations - Ability to work as part of a team Ideal Experience: This project is a great fit for candidates with backgrounds in: - Automotive Technician - Automotive Accessory Installation - Vehicle Upfitting - Fleet Maintenance - Mechanical Assembly - Equipment Installation - Manufacturing - Cable/Wiring Installation - Construction Trades QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
