| Responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.. A Support 4 requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include: Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.. Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees.. Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex. | |
