Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Position Summary

This position supports our team on our child and adolescent units on a Temporary Assignment for 13 weeks on 12-hour day shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for RN's who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in Psychiatric Care without a long-term commitment. As a temporary position, this role is not eligible for our benefit programs.

NOTE: Current employees and candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible for this role.

The Registered Nurse RN coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the Mental Health Technicians on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree) required. BSN preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' related experience required. Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.

  • Current BLS/CPR Certification required
  • Assignment: Child/Adolescent Unit
  • Pay Rate: $50/hr.
  • Hours: Day Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM (Rotating Weekends Required)
  • Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations
