We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Employee Data Experience Product Owner to join our People Enablement & Impact team. This role is in Boston, MA; New York City, New York; or Pittsburg, PA. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the product strategy and execution for BNY's Employee Data Experience, translating the People Data Foundation into a unified, intuitive experience for employees, managers, HR professionals, and authorized data consumers across Eliza, Oracle, and enterprise data channels.
- Shape and deliver scalable employee data management capabilities including data discovery, access, maintenance, validation, approvals, issue resolution, and intelligent self-service to improve data quality, reduce manual effort, and enable first time right outcomes.
- Establish the product model for how employee data is governed, entitled, published, and consumed across operational processes, analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled use cases, embedding privacy, security, lineage, and regulatory controls into the experience by design.
- Partner closely with employee data owners, Service Delivery Groups (SDGs), HR product teams, architecture, engineering and UX, Risk, and executive stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog, manage cross platform dependencies, and guide the transition from current state to the target People Data Foundation without creating unintended dependencies or avoidable migration work.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within an agile delivery model, with demonstrated success defining product strategy and translating complex enterprise data and HR processes into scalable digital products and intuitive user experiences.
- Deep expertise in employee or workforce data, enterprise data platforms, HR technology ecosystems, or data management products, with experience delivering capabilities across platforms such as Oracle, employee self-service channels, analytics environments, or AI enabled solutions.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, privacy, security, and role-based entitlements, with the ability to deliver measurable business value within a highly regulated environment.
- Exceptional strategic execution and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate enterprise governance, balance immediate business priorities with the target state architecture, and communicate product decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leaders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience guiding cross-functional product, data, engineering, architecture, UX, and delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, disciplined prioritization, rapid execution, and measurable outcomes.
