Get to Know Your Team:

  • Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area.
  • The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. In 2025, the hospital will add inpatient behavioral health services.
  • The ED has 9 beds and the role will oversee approximately 21 FTE's ranging from RN's, LPN's and a paramedic.

TheRNNurse Manager is responsible for assisting the CNO with the overallleadershipresponsibilities of the department in accordance with established nursing standards, philosophy and Hillcrest's mission/vision. The Nurse Manager serves as a vital link between management and the clinical staff as well asstrivingto achieve efficient, safe andcost-effectivepatient care.

Job Requirements:

  • Current RN License in the state ofOklahoma.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing(BSN).
  • ACLS and PALSwithin 90 days of employment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department
  • BLS certification must be obtained with 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Previous Charge or leadership experience

  • Certification preferred: CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), NE-BC, NEA-BC, or other relevant nursing leadership certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, build team accountability, and foster a positive culture during periods of transition.
  • Prior experience managing an Emergency Department with responsibility for frontline clinical staff and day-to-day operations.
