Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large, complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as a worldwide leader in this field. We are actively looking for a Water Resources / Stormwater Engineer with 8 to 15 years of experience to join our Charleston office. As the successful new hire, you will work across project scales and timelines - from federal flood risk management projects to municipal stormwater master plans to resilience plans - collaborating closely with Moffatt & Nichol's coastal engineering experts as well as Waggonner & Ball, a Moffatt & Nichol studio, on regional resilience strategies and nature-based approaches that go beyond traditional H&H (hydrology and hydraulic) modeling. This is a unique opportunity to help grow our Charleston office and expand our footprint across the Southeast, with some travel to support project delivery, backed by the full technical depth of our Raleigh team and Moffatt & Nichol's national water resources practice. Physical Requirements: Work is generally performed in an office or client office setting. Ability to use standard office equipment is required. Some site visits may be required which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment. Light regional travel will be required.
