Education Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field required.
  • APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, or other Supply Chain certifications preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, reporting, and data analysis tools.


Experience Requirements



  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Supply Chain Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous OEM manufacturing experience required.
  • Proven experience leading and developing supply chain teams, including buyers, planners, and shipping/receiving personnel.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, procurement, production planning, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating supplier agreements, pricing, and lead-time commitments.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing, inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to develop and monitor KPIs, inventory metrics, and supplier performance measures.
  • Commitment to safety, operational excellence, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, production, customer service, and executive leadership teams.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Frequent computer use, including ERP/MRP systems, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Ability to walk production and warehouse areas as needed.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.


Job Duties



  • Lead purchasing, planning, scheduling, inventory control, logistics, shipping, and receiving operations to support customer demand and production goals.
  • Develop material planning strategies that optimize inventory levels, improve service performance, and reduce costs.
  • Manage and maintain ERP/MRP data, documentation, scheduling, and procurement processes.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, delivery schedules, and strategic sourcing agreements.
  • Establish inventory strategies including safety stock, EOQ, reorder points, and demand planning processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of supply chain professionals while monitoring performance and accountability.
  • Evaluate supplier performance related to quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
  • Reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory while improving inventory accuracy.
  • Analyze and report KPIs related to on-time delivery, inventory performance, utilization, supplier performance, and cost savings.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency across sourcing, warehouse operations, logistics, and materials management functions.
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence throughout the supply chain organization.
