Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic understanding of quality control processes, inspection procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to accurately record and maintain inspection and quality records.


Experience Requirements



  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, quality control, or inspection environment preferred.
  • Experience identifying defects, non-conforming materials, and quality issues.
  • Comfortable using computers for data entry, quality documentation, and reporting.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience using Excel, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and other quality tracking tools.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to product quality and compliance.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and move materials as needed.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong visual acuity for conducting inspections and identifying defects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy.


Job Duties



  • Perform quality inspections on finished goods, raw materials, and work-in-process products to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records and reports.
  • Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials and products.
  • Support corrective action processes and assist with quality investigations.
  • Verify products meet internal standards, customer requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Communicate quality concerns to production, engineering, and leadership teams.
  • Operate a forklift to transport materials and support quality inspection activities.
  • Follow all company safety policies and contribute to a safe and organized work environment.
  • Assist with audits, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
