What You'll Do:
- Perform precision assembly, bonding, and handling of optical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components to extremely tight, including micron-level, tolerances.
- Work in Class 100 (ISO 5) clean room and laboratory environments while safely handling sensitive optical hardware such as lenses, mirrors, and optical subassemblies.
- Read and interpret manufacturing instructions, technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models while maintaining strict component traceability.
- Perform lapping to meet demanding flatness, parallelism, and angular requirements, and troubleshoot complex assembly issues to identify effective corrective actions.
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve assembly methods, documentation, manufacturability, and overall quality while reducing errors, defects, scrap, and rework.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 10+ years of experience in developing Power BI semantic models, dimensional data models, advanced DAX calculations, and Power Query/M transformations.
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Data Science or Engineering or Information Systems.
- Master's Degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels of the company, including senior management.
- Advanced experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M language), SQL, and dimensional data modeling.
- Good experience building and optimizing enterprise Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, and data transformations.
- Experience troubleshooting performance, refresh, query, and usability issues in Power BI environments.
- Experience with Power BI governance, gateways, deployment pipelines, and row-level security.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms and cloud data environments such as Azure, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of modern BI development practices, including governance, documentation, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Azure data services, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and Snowflake in support of analytics and reporting solutions.
- Experience with Python and/or R, C#, or Visual Basic.
- Familiarity with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, Performance Analyzer, or related tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
