Position Summary

Position Summary:

Our Leadership Development Program focuses on the holistic development of early leaders through the lens of Strategic Marketing. Throughout the program, participants will assist Division and Group Strategic Marketing Managers, building a broad foundation in strategic marketing, commercial operations, and leadership through real-world experiences and projects. Skill development will be focused on market research, product positioning, campaign support, brand strategy, and data-driven decision-making, while working closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, product management, finance, and operations. The program structure includes two six-month rotational placements that include several learning sprints over the course of a year. This approach will help participants rapidly build competencies and create alignment around common business challenges. After year one, participants can expect to be placed as Analysts at a Manufacturing Group or Division location with continued support and development from the program to foster engagement and empowerment as you grow your career.

Marketing Leadership Development Program Details:

  • Program Duration: 1 year, followed by one year of post-program support.

  • Program Structure: Two rotational assignments

  • Rotations' length: Six months each

  • Travel requirements: The assignments will likely require relocation. You will also be required to travel to Parker's corporate headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio for an extended onboarding period, preplanned learning sprints, program review, personal development and interaction with fellow program participants and mentors.

  • Relocation requirements: Geographic flexibility is required both during and upon completion of the program.

Essential Functions:

The program is designed to strengthen both business acumen and leadership capability, giving participants exposure to real projects, senior mentorship, and increasing responsibility so they can grow into future marketing leaders who understand both customer needs and overall business strategy. Participants will also cultivate soft skills such as leadership, communication, and business acumen that are essential for their professional growth. The LDA will perform direct responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Support campaign strategy, content creation, and a range of commercial marketing initiatives.

  • Help define product positioning, value messaging, and go-to-market plans for key business priorities.

  • Create and maintain marketing tools, resources, and communications that strengthen cross-functional alignment around systems and processes.

  • Contribute to strategic marketing initiatives that deepen insights into customers, market dynamics, and competitive activity.

  • Track, measure, and report on marketing performance to evaluate overall effectiveness.

  • Analyze sales, customer, and market data to support informed business and marketing decision-making.

  • Collaborate with sales, product management, and other internal teams to ensure consistent execution of marketing programs and priorities.

  • Assist in identifying growth opportunities by monitoring industry trends, customer needs, and emerging market developments.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree in an applicable Business program with a graduation date before June 2026.

  • BS in Marketing, Business or related field preferred; relevant work experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Project management skills with marketing/sales/commercial experience a plus.

  • Willingness to relocate throughout the program rotations, generally every six (6) months.

  • This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders] or have refugee or asylee status).


COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:

  • Pay Range: $60,600/annually to $115,000/annually reflecting variations based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
