Job Title: Electro-mechanical Technician
Location: Wendell, NC
Employment Type: Temporary (12 months)
Industry: Manufacturing industry
Compensation: $20.38/hr
Schedule: 40 hours/week -1 st shift. 7:30am-4pm

What You'll Do:
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, and dressing.
  • Learn to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Safely use hand, power, torque, and basic electrical testing tools, including a multimeter.
  • Follow digital work instructions and standardized processes while maintaining quality and productivity.
  • Support EHS, 6S, housekeeping, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while completing required technical and workmanship training.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+years of experience with wiring mechanical components, MCC- part sizes (without the copper involved)
What Sets You Apart:
  • Relevant manufacturing, assembly, electrical, vocational, or apprenticeship experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn mechanical drawing interpretation.
  • Has the ability to learn
  • Basic knowledge of the environment
  • Someone that can come in and learn at entry level that has basic mechanical and electrical engagement.
  • Low voltage compartments knowledge
  • Good attitude that wants to learn
  • Ability to safely use common hand, power, and torque tools after training.
  • Ability to learn DIN rail and cable duct processing requirements.
  • Basic electrical assembly knowledge and ability to learn schematic and wiring diagram interpretation.
  • Ability to complete wire-processing certification and perform basic cutting, stripping, crimping, dressing, and routing.
  • Ability to follow standardized work instructions and produce quality assemblies under supervision.
  • Ability to learn multimeter use for point-to-point verification and basic testing.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use digital work instructions, SieOps, execution tasks, and timekeeping tools.
  • Commitment to EHS, quality, 6S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to complete product, workmanship, and UL 508A training.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
