Job Description

Quality MRB Coordinator (2nd Shift)

Location: Mentor, Ohio
Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2nd Shift)
Reports To: Quality Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality MRB Coordinator to join our 2nd Shift Quality Team in Mentor, Ohio. In this role, you will support Quality Control, MRB Processes, and customer requirements, ensuring that all castings meet rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments to drive quality and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional looking to expand their experience in Quality Assurance, Non-Conformance Processing, Quality Audits, and Manufacturing Support within a growing manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Quality Engineers in reviewing customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Perform Dimensional Inspection, Visual Inspection, and quality audits to verify product conformance.
  • Conduct paperwork and documentation audits to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.
  • Write, maintain, and implement Quality Engineering Instructions (QEIs).
  • Assist with Non-Conformance Processing, Scrap Handling, and Customer Returns activities.
  • Support manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with established Quality Systems and procedures.
  • Review and prepare shipment documentation to ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues through effective Problem Solving.
  • Contribute to Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a professional and positive work environment with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Dimensional Inspection, Visual Inspection, or NDT Inspection.
  • Dimensional or visual inspection experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of Accountability.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Effective communication and Team Collaboration skills.
  • Flexible and willing to work additional hours as business needs require.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and carry up to 35 pounds on a routine basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work throughout a manufacturing environment and perform inspection-related activities.
