Their dedicated hardware engineering team is at the forefront, responsible for delivering the critical autonomous hardware, electronic control units, and electrical components that power these innovative vehicles. Aquent is partnering with this visionary company to find a highly skilled professional to join their team.

What You'll Do



  • Define tasks, resources, and timelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure successful program delivery that meets company milestones.
  • Develop a comprehensive program roadmap to effectively communicate deliverables to stakeholders and ensure accountability.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the program schedule to maintain progress and prevent delays.
  • Set clear agendas for key decisions in meetings, eliminating bottlenecks and minimizing risks.
  • Establish standard reports to provide concise and effective communications to key stakeholders on program status, issues/risks, and accomplishments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to define and track resource requirements, including headcount and budget.
  • Support critical decisions by working cross-functionally across engineering, finance, and strategy to reach optimal conclusions.


Required Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience in Hardware Program Management or Engineering Management, specifically managing cross-functional teams on hardware/software integration during the development phase.
  • BS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in industry-standard tools for complex project management (e.g., project tracking software, scheduling tools).
  • Prior experience working with contract manufacturers.
  • A self-motivated and proactive problem-solver.
  • An ability to maintain a strategic overview while providing clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to diverse audiences.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Directly managed 2+ program development cycles for a system involving both hardware and software integration.
  • Experience in the automotive industry and advanced sensor development.
  • MS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong references that highlight your ability to build robust working relationships with senior leaders and engineers across various functions and departments.
