SENIOR CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY
Nippon Sanso Matheson (NSM) is looking for (1) senior-level
Control Systems Integrator to fill a full-time position. The ideal candidate
will work with the Control Systems Manager to develop PLC and HMI software for
new Air Separation Unit (ASU) plant control systems within the company as
assigned, ensure assignments are completed within budget and on schedule, and
communicate effectively with team members on project status and needs.
Essential Functions
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete PLC programming for new ASU plant control systems
accurately and in a timely manner.
Complete integration of plant equipment (SCADA, low and
medium voltage electrical systems, analyzers and sampling systems, etc.) into
new ASU plant control systems accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
support of all control systems hardware and software throughout on-site ASU
plant start-up, and otherwise as needed.
Proactively coordinate with project managers, vendor
engineers, field technicians, and contractors throughout the engineering,
commissioning, and start-up phases of new ASU plants.
Assist with FAT (factory acceptance testing) and SAT (site
acceptance testing) of all control systems hardware and software for new ASU
plants.
Assist the Control Systems Manager in the development of
programming standards and library functions to be applied to future ASU plant
control systems.
Assist the Control Systems Manager in training and
certifying department technicians and operations teammates in efficient use of
standard NSM control systems hardware and software.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's Degree An
engineering degree from an ABET accredited university is required
Work Experience
7-9 years Minimum
of 5 years' experience in control systems programming, or 10 years of
equivalent experience is required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with multiple PLC platforms including Siemens
SIMATIC S7, SIMATIC S5/CTI, and Allen-Bradley.
Experience with multiple HMI/visualization platforms
including Inductive Automation/Ignition, Siemens WinCC, and SIMATIC HMI.
Experience with networking and communication protocols
including OPC UA, MODBUS RTU/TCP, PROFINET, and others.
Ability to develop PLC logic in multiple languages,
including ladder logic, structured text and VB script
Ability to effectively interpret and modify PLC wiring
diagrams, P&IDs, control narratives and logic diagrams, and other resources
related to automation of plant operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability
to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment.

Pay Range: $130,000 to $150,000
