Application Window Open date: August 25, 2026 Next review date: Thursday, Sep 24, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Feb 25, 2028 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals The Division of Nephrology within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is recruiting faculty members at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks in the Adjunct, Clinical X, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, or In Residence faculty series. Academic rank and series will be commensurate with experience. Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and an established fellowship training program. Faculty may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and will contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in patient care, education, research, and advocacy. For positions that are 51% effort or more: Total compensation at the University of California, San Francisco includes your base salary, which is determined by your rank and step at appointment, and negotiated pay for Health Sciences Compensation Plan members. Faculty who are members of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan may also be eligible for additional incentive pay.
