Team Overview

The Financial Services FP&A team owns full P&L management across the Financial Services portfolio, including Consumer Lending, Card & Banking, Mortgage, and Auto. The team partners closely with business leaders to manage forecasting, financial planning, reporting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support. Through actionable insights and financial leadership, the team helps drive business performance and provides leadership with visibility into key risks, opportunities, and growth drivers. This role reports to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Finance business partner supporting the Consumer Lending organization and lead forecasting, planning, and financial management activities.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast submissions while partnering closely with business and strategy teams to align financial expectations and business objectives.
  • Lead month-end close support activities, partnering with Accounting teams to understand financial results, variances, and key performance trends.
  • Analyze revenue drivers including customer performance, volume trends, forecasting assumptions, risks, and opportunities to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare executive reporting packages, board materials, financial commentary, and presentations for senior leadership audiences.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, forecasting tools, reporting templates, and business performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Strategy, Sales, Accounting, Billing, and business leadership teams to provide actionable financial insights.
  • Support ad hoc financial analyses, scenario modeling, business reviews, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements that increase forecast accuracy, reporting quality, operational efficiency, and financial transparency.

Required Knowledge and Experiences

  • 4+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Revenue Finance, or related financial analysis roles.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and performance reporting processes.
  • Experience partnering with Accounting teams and supporting month-end close activities.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, variance analysis, forecasting methodologies, and revenue driver analysis.
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations, board materials, and financial commentary for senior leadership.
  • Strong business partnership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling, scenario analysis, forecasting, large dataset manipulation, and reporting automation.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to develop executive presentations, financial reporting materials, and board documentation.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to reconcile information from multiple data sources and translate findings into business insights.
  • Experience with financial planning, ERP, reporting, or business intelligence platforms such as OneStream, Tableau, Power BI, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Alteryx, or similar tools.
  • Strong reporting, financial analysis, and business performance management capabilities.

Pay Scale Information: The U.S. base salary range for this position is $72,300.00 - $105,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
