What You'll Do:

This position reports directly to the Director, Customer Services & Operations, with a strong dotted-line relationship to the Senior Manager, Technical Services. The primary focus of this role is coordinating Customer Approval activities across North America, ensuring timely and accurate handling of repair estimates, surveys, approvals, and technical inquiries. The position works closely with Technical Services Managers, Operations, Marketing, depots, vendors, and customers to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting Triton's operational and technical objectives.


  • Serve as the primary coordinator for Customer Approval (CAPP) activities across Triton's North America region.
  • Review, coordinate, and track customer approval requests, repair estimates, and survey requests, working closely with Technical Services Managers to ensure timely responses.
  • Coordinate container maintenance and repair activities across Triton's North America depot network, ensuring adherence to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, depots, vendors, and internal stakeholders by providing responsive, high-quality service.
  • Verify that Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and API estimates are accurately received and processed within Triton's systems, resolving discrepancies with depots as needed.
  • Maintain accurate container data and customer approval records within Triton's internal systems.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Triton's technical standards, container inspection criteria (IICL/UCIRC/CW), and CEDEX coding.
  • Participate in occasional depot visits alongside Technical Services Managers to strengthen technical knowledge and support operational initiatives.
  • Participate in occasional customer visits to build relationships and gain a better understanding of customer requirements.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.


What We're Looking For:


  • 2-4 years of experience in customer service, operations, technical coordination, container leasing, shipping, transportation, or a related field preferred.
  • Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.
  • General knowledge of the container leasing, shipping, or transportation industry with a strong willingness to develop technical expertise.
  • Knowledge of container inspection standards (IICL/UCIRC/CW) and CEDEX coding, or the aptitude and willingness to obtain this knowledge.
  • Willingness to prepare for and successfully complete applicable IICL certification/examinations.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and persistence in following issues through to resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning and working in internal systems, including Trifleet.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints, follow through on open items, and take a proactive approach to resolving customer and operational issues.
  • Must be able to work on-site four days per week (Monday - Thursday) in accordance with Triton's hybrid work model to support effective collaboration and business operations.
  • Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Houston office.
