Technical training in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or metalworking is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, measurements, and production specifications. Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and required PPE usage. Experience Requirements 1+ years of material handler, forklift, band saw, and water jet experience. Previous experience operating industrial cutting and material-handling equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Hands-on experience with waterjet cutting machines, plasma cutting equipment, and horizontal or vertical band saws required. Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists to safely move raw materials and finished products. Ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting, routine inspections, and preventative maintenance. Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and quality standards. Dependable team player with a commitment to safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift, move, and position heavy materials using appropriate lifting equipment. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Ability to safely work around heavy machinery, moving equipment, and industrial materials. Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Job Duties Safely operate waterjet cutting machines to produce precision-cut parts and components from a variety of materials. Set up and operate horizontal and vertical band saws to cut metal bars, tubing, and plate materials to required specifications. Utilize plasma cutting equipment to support fabrication and production requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production. Inspect finished materials and cut parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Safely load, unload, transport, and stage materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists. Perform routine machine maintenance, equipment inspections, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
