Videographer College of Fine & Applied Arts Job SummaryTo serve as a video producer and editor for the creation of digital content for web, social media, alumni engagement, student recruitment, and advancement for the Office of Marketing and Communications in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. This position will work directly with Assistant Dean and support the team, coordinating the production of various digital communication assets, including videos, webinars, and social media content. The videographer will hire, train, and supervise student videographers for production video services. This position will research, plan, develop, manage, curate, and measure all video related informational, promotional, and brand content for the College of Fine and Applied Arts. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in film/video production, cinematography, radio and television, documentary film production, photojournalism, communications, graphic design, or a closely related field to the position. One (1) year (12 months) of professional work experience in areas including non-linear video editing, motion graphics, video lighting and composition, camera operation, video production, or a closely related professional area. Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5014 - Cinematographer/Creative Video Producer position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 10/12/2026. The previously determined salary range for this position is $60,000 - 65,000 with final salary determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, collective bargaining agreements, and budget constraints. This position is eligible for work authorization, except for sponsorship of a new H1B petition that would incur the $100,000 fee.
