We are seeking qualified candidates for both first-shift and second-shift openings. Specializing in fuel nozzles, gas turbine accessories, component repair, and electrical harnesses, we deliver high-quality solutions that help our customers maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Overview of the Position: Primarily responsible for supporting composite and machine shop operations and other activity required to support repair with the authority to carry out all assigned tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support shop floor and individual cells by cleaning, quoting, washing, testing, blasting, masking, coating, screen/composite repair, painting, material handling and assembly and disassembly of parts for repair and other activity as required Follow all work instructions and complete all quality documentation as required Must be mentally coherent and free from the influence of drugs (either illegal or legally prescribed drugs that may cause impairment) while performing in the capacity of "safety-sensitive" duties/operations per FAA regulations Perform any additional tasks as required Ensure adherence to Safety Rules and Regulations Ensure high levels of housekeeping are maintained within work area Ensure work is carried out in accordance with QHSE policy Commitment to Company Values Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of company's policies and procedures Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software Knowledge of basic data entry and/or word processing Knowledge of test equipment (i.e. Dyno Test) Knowledge of machine shop theory, shop mathematics and measurement equipment Skilled in oral and written communication (English) Skilled in working with composite material Ability to read blue prints and job specific routers Ability to conduct proper part preparation including cleaning of parts Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines Ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to analyze and solve problems Ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral) Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to read, write, speak and understand English per FAA Regulations Ability to aid in audits Ability to think and concentrate for long periods of time Ability to perform mathematical calculations associated with repair work scopes Ability to work in a team environment Ability to train others as required Ability to be flexible with work schedule Ability to learn tasks required to perform the job Education / Experience Requirements: 2 - 4 years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing. Requires occasional reaching above shoulder level, kneeling or squatting. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 50 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Regularly required to use hands and fingers. Works in moderate noise levels.
