Title: Product Marketing Manager IV
Duration: 8+ Months
Location: Remote- US (EST slightly preferred)
Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Product Marketing Manager to drive successful market entry and accelerate growth across global markets for our wearables portfolio. You will own the end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new market launches and in-market growth-from identifying the right markets to enter, to developing launch playbooks, to scaling what works.

As the central strategic lead for global expansion, you will translate product and marketing strategy into market-specific plans that account for regional consumer behavior, channel structures, regulatory pathways, and partner ecosystems. You will partner across product, regional marketing, sales, channel, ops, legal, and policy teams to turn ambitious goals into measurable results.

The ideal candidate has launched consumer hardware in multiple international markets and understands the operational realities behind those launches: certification timelines, localization, supply and retail readiness, and country-level legal and policy nuances. They are equally comfortable setting marketing strategy and building the governance, workflows, and tracking systems that make multi-market execution scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Own and operationalize clear GTM strategies for new market launches, bringing a strong point of view to strategic decisions and trade-offs (product readiness, channel strategy, pricing, positioning, compliance, and more). Define market readiness criteria, launch gating, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Regional Strategy: Partner with regional Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams to adapt global positioning, messaging, and campaign strategy to local market needs-and feed regional requirements back into global product and marketing planning.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive momentum across 12+ global teams-including regional marketing, communications, product, sales ops, legal, policy, channel partners, and more-to ensure all elements of GTM are aligned ahead of launch. Track dependent readiness plans, anticipate bottlenecks, and mediate between stakeholder groups to resolve blockers.

  • Insights & Research: Partner with user research, market insights, and data science teams to gather market, category, channel, and audience insights that inform launch tactics and in-market growth strategies.

  • In-Market Growth & Performance: Post-launch, drive business goals across awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention. Define success metrics and prioritization across initiatives; use data to identify bottlenecks, test new approaches, and scale what works.

  • Operating Model & Scale: Build governance models, workflows, templates, and tracking systems to scale multi-market execution. Establish best practices and knowledge-sharing routines.

  • Executive Communication: Provide visibility and strategic insights to stakeholders at all levels, managing GTM information cadences, escalations, and mitigations to inform leadership decisions on international investment and portfolio strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • International Launches: Demonstrated experience driving international launches or market expansions, with working knowledge of market readiness, regulatory pathways, and country-level operational, legal, and policy considerations.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional initiatives to deliver product launch results in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments-partnering with internal and external stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, comms, partnerships, legal, and policy at a Director+ level.

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Experience using customer research, data, and market insights to inform GTM strategy, product positioning, and business decisions.

  • Executive Presence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.

  • Domain & Product Focus: Product marketing experience launching consumer hardware, software, or connected devices in international markets. Subject matter expertise in AR/VR, wearable devices, smart glasses, or mobile devices.

  • 0-to-1 & Scale: Experience with both 0-to-1 market entries and scaling established products in existing markets. Experience building governance models, workflows, and tracking systems from scratch.

  • Ambiguity & Speed: Ability to make strategic decisions in ambiguous, data-sparse environments and iterate rapidly.

Team Context & Key Projects

  • Business Group: Sits within the commercial team spanning both wearables and VR product lines. The team drives overall growth-determining investment strategy, key channel partnerships, and broad budget allocation.

  • Scope & Growth: Currently operating in 21 markets with aggressive expansion plans to 39 markets by year-end. Work involves device certifications, regulatory compliance, product localization, AI language readiness, expanding retail presence, and adapting to country-specific buying habits.

Day-to-Day Expectations

  • Managing launch readiness workstreams across multiple international markets simultaneously.

  • Coordinating with cross-functional partners (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Legal, Policy) to track dependencies and resolve blockers.

  • Monitoring certification timelines, regulatory pathways, and localization progress for upcoming launches.

  • Building and maintaining tracking systems, workflows, and templates to keep multi-market execution on schedule.

  • Communicating status updates, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

  • Partnering with regional teams to adapt global strategies to local market needs and consumer behaviors.

Performance Success Metrics

  • Smoothness of Launches: Minimal disruptions, on-time delivery, and seamless execution across markets.

  • Cross-Functional Feedback: Positive partner evaluations across sales, marketing, finance, and product teams.

  • Execution Quality: "Zero defect" approach to process execution and launch deliverables.

  • Scalability: Ability to run a smooth, scalable process to launch and accelerate new and existing markets.
