This role is responsible for working with departmental leaders to develop and implement actions to meet plant goals and deliverables. This position will coordinate processes, equipment and people to maintain continuous flow of product and services.

Position Details:

  • Plant location: Grapevine, Texas

  • Shift: C shift, Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am

What You Will Do:

  • Establish standard work and assists in training

  • Coordinate equipment and labor to minimize downtime

  • May back fill forklift operators or other positions as needed

  • Participate in developing, deploying, and using continuous improvement systems

  • Identify safety hazards through safety audits and initiatives. Recommend corrective actions

  • Communicate maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to supervisor. Work closely with the Quality team

  • Continuously identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination

  • Ensure constant communication with management on daily activities and challenges

  • Participate in selecting and developing new hires

  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and maintained

  • Successfully complete classroom and on the job training

  • Ensure all documentation is complete

  • Ensure cycle counts are completed in a timely manner

  • Investigate root cause of inventory discrepancies

  • Review and post inventory adjustments

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 2 years of plant/warehouse experience in a related field

  • 2 years of standup forklift experience

  • Basic computer skills Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TPM knowledge and experience

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Professional experience coaching, mentoring and providing feedback

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Previous forklift operating experience

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $27.28 - $40.92. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
