Dr. Beiyun Zhou's lab is recruiting a Postdoctoral/Research Associate. Dr. Zhou's lab is interested in studying the cell and molecular biology of the alveolar epithelium with focus on analysis of alveolar epithelial cell (AEC) differentiation and plasticity in the context of lung injury and fibrosis. The position is for qualified candidates who wish to pursue a career in the basic and translational research of lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Responsibilities and Duties
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D.inbiomedicalsciencesorrelateddisciplines.Previoustrainingand experiences in the following research areas are preferred: 1) experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and pathology; 2) mechanistic studies of metabolic pathways and mitochondrial function; 3) mechanistic studies of lung fibrosis; 4) experience in working with mouse models ; 5) experience in bioinformatics such as ScRNAseq and ChIP-seq. Minimum education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate within the previous three years. Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $70,304.
