We're seeking a detail oriented Accountant, Operations to support financial reporting, reconciliations, cash management, and expense administration. Strong preference will be given to candidates with Concur experience, including administration, auditing, and employee support. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on financial accuracy, controls, and operational efficiency. This role will work a hybrid schedule at our either our Columbus, Ohio or Charleston, WV location. We can hire at multiple seniority levels depending on candidate qualifications. JOB OBJECTIVE: The Accountant, Operations is responsible for the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger entries. This position analyzes and maintains accounting records as well as performs associated account reconciliations. This role researches and resolves any potential issues to ensure the accuracy of our financial information. This position participates in projects as assigned to maintain key controls within the department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: A four-year college degree with a major in accounting or finance is preferred. Interest in progressing towards CPA is preferred, though not required. This position also requires an ability to learn and understand Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Statutory Accounting Principles and familiarity with various software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Possess the ability to use technical tools to perform analysis and create efficiencies in reporting. Understand and access various data sources, using available reporting tools, to meet compliance, and accounting requirements and operational reporting needs. Work well in a highly skilled team environment, learn new technology, good oral and written communication skills, and a profit-minded perspective are essential.
